The following are processes for analyzing impact and adaptation metrics for the purpose of tracking biodiversity health.

Species occurence search in Global Biodiversity Infrastructure Facillity (GBIF)

Parameters:taxon_name (string) – Taxonomic name of tree species (e. g. Fagus sylvatica)
Returns:
  • output_map (image/png) – PNG graphic file showing the presence of tree species according to GBIF data fetch
  • output_csv (text/csv) – Extracted CSV file containing the tree species table
  • output_log (text/plain) – Collected logs during process run.

Indices preparation for SDM process

Parameters:
  • resource (application/x-netcdf, application/x-tar, application/zip) – NetCDF Files or archive (tar/zip) containing netCDF files. (Info)
  • indices ({'CDD_AMJJAS', 'CFD_ONDJFM', 'FD_ONDJFM', 'FD_Apr', 'FD_May', 'FD_Jun', 'GD4_yr', 'ID_yr', 'PRCPTOT_yr', 'PRCPTOT_ONDJFM', ..}) – Climate indices related to growth conditions of tree species
  • archive_format ({'zip', 'tar'}) – Result files will be compressed into archives. Choose an appropriate format
Returns:

  • output_indices (application/x-tar, application/zip) – Archive (tar/zip) containing calculated climate indices
  • ncout (application/x-netcdf) – NetCDF file with subsets of one resource.
  • output_log (text/plain) – Collected logs during process run.

Indices preparation for SDM process

Parameters:
  • resource (application/x-netcdf, application/x-tar, application/zip) –

  • gbif (string) – GBIF table (csv) with tree occurence (output of ‘GBIF data fetch’ process )
  • indices ({'CDD_AMJJAS', 'CFD_ONDJFM', 'FD_ONDJFM', 'FD_Apr', 'FD_May', 'FD_Jun', 'GD4_yr', 'ID_yr', 'PRCPTOT_yr', 'PRCPTOT_ONDJFM', ..}) – Climate indices related to growth conditions of tree species
  • period ({'all', '1951-1980', '1961-1990', '1971-2000', '1981-2010'}) – Reference period for climate conditions (all = entire timeseries)
